The European Union-funded COOPERANT Project has officially announced the establishment of its Stakeholder Replicability Board (SRB), a strategic initiative designed to unite key industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers in driving the future of renewable energy and industrial decarbonization.
The COOPERANT initiative is advancing cutting-edge Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) combined with Thermal Energy Storage (TES) and integrated AI-driven management tools. To ensure these technologies transition successfully from research environments to wide-scale market adoption, the newly launched SRB will serve as a dedicated collaborative platform for expert validation and strategic feedback.
Bridging Innovation and Market Readiness
The Stakeholder Replicability Board aims to bridge the gap between technological innovation and real-world industrial needs. Board members will actively contribute to shaping specifications, validating software and hardware performance, and providing recommendations to guide the commercial scaling of solar energy integration across key sectors.
Key focus areas for the SRB include:
- Defining Real-World Applications: Identifying high-impact deployment opportunities for CSP-TES and AI technologies in energy and industrial processing.
- Guiding Tech Development: Providing market-driven requirements to ensure solutions address exact operational constraints.
- Validating AI & Thermal Storage Systems: Testing and offering critical feedback on the project’s integrated AI tools and thermal storage performance.
- Influencing Policy & Standards: Reviewing open-access reports to provide insights for regulatory bodies, industrial partners, and European policymakers.
